Matter of time is the expression of a fascination on the relation between control and randomness on materials. It is an on-going research around prints and processes, that also an aim to create unique pieces within series.
By merging true colors and organic patterns, I aim to create an intimate link through uniqueness between us and our belongings.
I truely believe that via this process of understanding, feeling, identifying to the matter, we can change the way we consume and perceive textile.
Key part of my current work, this research is based on the evolution of materials. As mold, copper, iron, wax or even ice. How in time and space do they take over and create their own patterns and colors?
The designer becomes co-creator of his piece, personifying the material, and giving freedom to unpredicted. As users of those objects, we evolve with them, they get aged, fade out or continue growing. It’s all about this proximity between us and our surroundings.
