For this personal project, I was interested in the scarf as an object. Its history, how it has evolved and the connotations associated with the way it is worn. 

Scarves have a very long history that places them far from the accessory we know today. I’ve worked in such a way that this scarf traces its own history, from its origins to our contemporary use, while also relating its evolution as a symbol in our society.

The scarf can be worn in three different ways. Each of these poses is linked to one of its historical uses. In each of these positions the scarf gives access to different pockets or fastenings, details which underline its function, and its perception as a symbol of status.
