At the heart of this project is a celebration of the intrinsic beauty of natural elements that are often overlooked. By transforming slices of red cabbage into stamps, I dug into a world of unsuspected tools. Each slice becomes a source of inspiration, revealing organic patterns that encourage to rediscover the elements that surround us in our everyday lives.
The stamps created from slices of red cabbage become instruments for capturing the pure essence of nature and contrasting it with the symmetry and structure required to create patterns. This artistic approach invites us to take a fresh look at details that are often overlooked, transforming simple elements into clothing motifs that are rich in meaning. A visual exploration that highlights the splendour of the ordinary.
Using these tools, each motif questions the origin of its creation. Varying between organic, organised, random and symmetrical, they call on us to rethink our environment as an inexhaustible source of inspiration and creative tools.
